Asus Eee PC-X101 Netbook hits the FCC - MeeGo

Jul 29, 2011

Ok, So I'm a few days late with this but I've no idea how it slipped through the net. The Asus Eee PC X101 has hit the FCC web site and as usual we have loads of pictures and user manual for this $200 MeeGo machine.

Opposed to the usual norm these days of packing everything you can think of into an OS, MeeGo does things differently. It gives what you need. A OS that you can do your Documents, Email, Browsing on the move whilst being kind on the battery.

Update: Asus has also posted an official product page for the netbook, showing that it will come with 2GB of free cloud storage from Dropbox and a 28Whr battery. Some models may be available with a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N455 processor instead of the slower N435 chip. The laptop will measure 10.3″ x 7.1″x 0.7″ and weigh about 2 pounds.
