Master hardware adapter Vgrade couldn’t resist getting his hands dirty with getting Sailfish running on our beloved ExoPC (these were given out by Intel as part of their AppUp series to MeeGo developers, Yes I’ve got one as well).
The hack was to extract the rootfs from the sailfish sdk emulator and add in the hardware adaptation packages for ExoPC. On the todo list is to get the rotation sorted, add the wifi adaptation then we should be able to deploy QML apps from the Sailfish QT Creator based SDK
Just as a recap the specifications of the ExoPC are detailed below and we have to keep in mind that this is a Atom N450 processor running at 1600Mhz which to todays standard is EXTREMELY SLOW but then the SailFish OS is designed to be able to run on what we consider older hardware!
