Qt for Tizen Alpha 4 has now been released, which is a cross platform development framework that can be used to target Tizen, Android, iOS and other operating systems and currently has approx 800,000 developers worldwide. It brings application developers, designers and system integrators more development options from a single Qt Creator-based SDK.
There is now support for Tizen IVI 3.0 and Wayland which is the display subsystem of choice in Tizen 3.0 IVI.
Qt Creator is now centre of the Qt-oriented Tizen SDK. Building and deploying of C++ and Qt Quick apps to devices and emulator is now possible directly from Qt Creator. Integration has been delivered through a dedicated preconfigured Tizen plugin and kits using standard Tizen's build and deployment tools such as Smart Development Bridge (sdb).
