The Tizen Samsung Gear S certainly does stand out from the crowd when you look at Smartwatches coming out of IFA. The majority of the rest are based on Android ware and to be honest, I still don't see the attraction. The Gear S, being based on a true Linux based, a lovely curved display and built in cellular connectivity makes it quite appealing.

Below is a list of countries and their associated country codes that the Gear S will be sold in. The rollout will begin in October, and the price tag of Euro 299 has been mentioned. Some think this is really expensive, but if you want a Smartwatch which effectively is a Smartphone, and be at the cutting edge of tech, then its not going to come cheap.
