A few weeks ago we saw the Samsung Z1 released in India, and today Samsung Mobile Bangladesh has announced the launch of the Samsung Z1 in Bangladesh. Consumers will be able to experience light weight Tizen speed, as well as long-lasting battery performance and also features ‘Ultra Power Saving Mode’ that gives the Z1 a standby time of up to 18 hours from as little as 10% charge.

Local apps that will appeal to Bangladeshi consumers such as Prayer Times come preloaded on the Z1, as well as one-touch access to local websites such as Bdjobs.com, bdnews24.com, bikroy.com, ekhanei.com, and Prothom Alo. The Z1 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, 4” WVGA PLS screen, dual SIM card support, 4GB internal memory which is expandable with up to a 64GB external microSD card.
The Samsung Z1 is available on the 3.5G Robi network in Bangladesh, with potential users getting 300 minutes (Robi to Robi calls), 100 minutes cross network and 1GB data for the first month. Customers also have the option of purchasing a special Robi value pack that provides them with 250 minutes (Robi to Robi talk time), 50 minutes cross network minutes and also 500MB data at BDT 99/- for the next 12 months.
The Samsung Z1 is competitively priced at BDT 6,900/- and available from the 4th February in White, Black and Red colours.
