Samsung Mobile's new president Dongjin Koh envisions his innovative approach for the future of the company

Feb 17, 2016

Its that time of the year when all the Tech media and geeks alike turn their heads towards Barcelona. Samsung will be keeping up with their customary routine like every year to hold their huge event- Unpacked, just a day before the start of the popular Mobile World Congress which is starting on 22nd of February, 2016. Samsung will have a new face on stage in Mr. Dongjin Koh who was appointed as the President of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business in December 2015.

With over 30 years of experience at Samsung under various wings of the firm, Koh has been responsible in bringing of some of Samsung's innovative technologies to the market. During a recent interview, Koh said that brands like Samsung have to constantly think out of the box to stay relevant in the mobile industry that is slowly coming to a stagnant halt and hence keep delivering innovative tools and services to keep people connected. Koh lauded the achievements of Samsung's Galaxy range of Android smartphones and took the Galaxy Note as an example of how Samsung paved a new way to bring what we now call as 'Phablets' into existence and explained that the company envisions to achieve the same feat with their recent dual edged display smartphones namely the Galaxy S6 edge and the S6 edge Plus.

Unlike all the leaks and rumors that's been floating around about that the Galaxy S7, Koh had very little to say about the flagship device (saving the best for the event perhaps) and rather went on to explain how well they have worked to keep elevating what the S series has to offer provided, all the limelight it gets from the world.
