The GoPro HERO 4 camera takes GoPro performance to the next level with its best image quality, packing a processor with twice more power that delivers super slow motion at 240 frames per second.
One feature of the HERO 4 is the built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which allows you to connect to various apps. One of the apps you can connect to is the Gear Pro app for the Samsung Gear S2 available for free on the Galaxy App store.
The Gear Pro app allows you control the GoPro HERO 4 camera from the Tizen OS powered Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch via Wi-Fi connection. The video of how this amazing feature works is actually attached under this post. First you switch on the Wi-Fi connectivity on the Gear S2 as well as that of the HERO 4. The Gear Pro app needs to be opened as well because that's where the Wi-Fi enabled controls can be done. You'll then connect the Gear S2 with the camera on the app platform. You'll get the options of video cam control, still shot camera controls, and others on the app.
One stunning feature is that you can as well set a self timer for the camera via the Gear Pro app and this allows you take selfies with ease. The video actually takes you through the process of using the Gear Pro app.
You'll need to get the Gear Pro app from the Samsung Galaxy App store and its free to download. Meanwhile here's the short video tutorial.
