Smartphone App: SHAREit updated to version 3.6.98_ww

Jan 12, 2017

One of the most requested and sought after apps in the Tizen Store has been SHAREit, as it is a fast way for you to share photos, music, and more across devices. One of the major benefits of the SHAREit app is that it does not use network data or even require you to be on the same WiFi network as the other device.

You can share almost anything including pictures, videos, music, documents and contacts. Transfer HUGE files, with speeds up to 40x faster than traditional Bluetooth. The app also supports multiple mobile platforms such as Tizen, Android, iOS, Windows Phone and also desktop operating systems Windows and Apple Mac.

Now, the app has been updated to version 3.6.98_ww, bringing with it the group share feature that lets you send files to multiple recipients all at once. The full changelog is below:-

What's New

  1. Added the Group Share feature. Group send or receive files by tapping the button on the lower part of homepage
  2. Added the Space Analyzer feature in “Received” files. Exactly display and timely handle your mobile storage status, duplicate photos and big files, etc
  3. Enhanced some other performances

This is an ACL enabled app and requires that you to first download and install ACL by OpenMobile. You will be alerted to do this once you start installing the app. As well as Shareit, there is an update for MX Player, Spades, and Tic Tac Toe in the Tizen Store. OpenMobile has confirmed updates on the way for UC Browser and Xender soon, as well as a couple of new apps that will be added to the Store.

Note: SHAREit requires Tizen 2.4+ in order to run

This app is available for all Tizen smartphones.
