A few days ago, a new variant of the Samsung Z2 has been WiFi certified, model number SM-Z200M/DS - Do you notice the new "M" in the model? The hardware version is listed as Revision1.0, so that is final and it is WiFi certified with connectivity b, g, n; WPA, WPA2 and WiFi Direct - basically the usual suspects.
According to one of our sources, the device will ship with Tizen 220.127.116.11 and is currently listed in the seller office with a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, which is the same as the standard model SM-Z200F that has already been launched. This is a Dual SIM device that supports the LTE frequency bands, but we have not had confirmation of specific bands at the moment. If an online database is to be believed, this could be the first device to be heading to South America, specifically Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Ecuador at this stage, more countries could be added at a later date.
The Samsung Z2 was Initially launched in India, which was then was followed by South Africa, Nepal, Kenya and recently Indonesia. The device has a 4″ WVGA screen that is Powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, MicroSD capability (up to 128GB), Dual SIM support, 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, and a 1500mAh long-lasting battery.
