There have recently been some rumours of what the next Tizen Developer Phone 2017 might look like and its Internals. The first schematic drawings of what the upcoming Samsung TM2 / TM2E (Edge) Developer phone 2017 will look like are shown as below with the specs further down:
Looking at what has been provided in the drawing, the mobile's casing seems to be the same as the Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge. We already know that the TM2 / TM2 (Edge) is the mobile reference board for Tizen Mobile, which is powered by the Samsung Exynos 5433 SoC (64-bit ARM v8 architecture), the same one found in the Galaxy Note 4, but has full 64-bit addressing enabled out of the box. This particular CPU is an Octa Core CPU that has a Quad Cortex-A57 1.9GHz + Quad Cortex-A53 1.3GHz using 20nm FinFet process.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is powered by an Exynos 7420 processor Quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 2.1Ghz + Quad-core Cortex-A53 1.5Ghz using 14nm FinFet process. We can conclude the Developer device for 2017 won't be an S6 running Tizen, but will be less powerful in the CPU department. The Exynos 5433 is still quite a powerful processor and will be able to perform quite favourably running on our Linux-based Tizen OS.

Could this be a device giveaway at the upcoming Tizen Developer Conference 2017? We currently don't have any Information on this, but we hope that Samsung can provide Developers with fully functional smartphones with SU Root access, instead of the lunchboxes like the RD-210, RD-PQ, TM1 that have cellular capabilities disabled.
