Today, some WhatsApp Messenger app users have experienced a problem on Tizen mobiles, such as the Samsung Z1, Z2 and Z3. Once you launch the app you are greeted with a message "This version of WhatsApp has expired. Please go to the App Store to update it." The problem is that once you visit the Tizen Store there is not update available at the moment.
As you can imagine this is causing some of our readers quite a few problems. Do not worry, whilst this issue is fixed here is a little workaround for you.
All you have to do is go into settings, then date and time and now disable Auto set, now manually set any date before 7th May 2017 and then launch WhatsApp again. That's it, your messaging app works again. We do hear that a WhatsApp update version 2.16.8 is being released soon, so possibly that will resolve the issue fully.
