Russia has been a positive market for Tizen developments so far. Tizen was one of the first foreign operating system to get FSTEC (Federal Service for Technical and Export Control) certified. Both government and corporate officials in Russia have been using Tizen devices for a while now. It was noted earlier that the Samsung Z3 was the device being used in the country with a special version of Tizen 2.4 that plays well with Russian requirements.
Now, on Linux Center Russia’s online shop, the corporate version of the Samsung Z3 has been listed for sale at a price of 23,700p. This model of Z3 carries the model number SM-Z300F. This version is completely different from the regular version of the Z3 which was launched in India carrying the model number SM-Z300H, except for the looks. For starters, the CPU on this model is the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) unlike the 32bit Spreadtrum SC7730S used on the Indian unit. Another major difference is the 4G LTE connectivity support on this model which also has VoLTE feature unlike the 3G version on the Z300H.
You can take a look at the complete specification from the table below, and if you’re in Russia, you can order it right away from here. Delivery takes a good 15 days.
