One developer who is no stranger to the Tizen platform is Somyac Slawomir Baranowski. He currently has over 20 apps in the store including the likes of Transparent Screen, Media Converter, Droid Lock Screen, Home Launcher and many more. Now, he has introduced a new app called "Downloader For Movies". This app allows you to download videos from the Facebook service. Now you can save your favorite clips on the memory card and watch them later in offline mode. It is very easy to use and all downloaded videos will be kept safely in the app.
Download the app from the Tizen Store. It is only 2.43MB in size thus you shouldn't have any problems downloading or installing this app. After installing the app, all you need to do is get the Facebook video URL that you want to download. Open "Downloader for movies" and past the URL on the space provided then click on "start" and wait while the video downloads. On the bottom left of the app home screen, you have "Download" which can be used to check the progress of the download while the bottom right has "My Files" which can be used to access all downloaded videos.
Interestingly, this app gives the option to select a video quality. Before download commences, it gives the option of "HD Video" or "SD Video". Note that HD Videos gives more details and its size is equally larger. Thus if you need a sharp display, select "HD Video", however, if you are battling with storage space on your device, then you may select "SD Video". You also have the opportunity to share, rename or delete the downloaded item(s).
Some may be wondering how they would manage to get the URL of the video that needs to be downloaded. Actually, it's a simple process. You can follow one of the two processes below
