Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch alongside the Galaxy Note 9 earlier this month. Pre-orders for the Bluetooth version of the watch began almost immediately, with the company promising to release it first in the US on August 24th. And now, Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the T-Mobile LTE-enabled Galaxy Watch as well.
For the first time ever, Samsung launched its smartwatch in two different sizes, 42mm and 46mm. Both the watches pack the same specs and features, except the battery, 472mAh in 46mm model and 270mAh in 42mm one. Samsung priced the Bluetooth version of the smaller model at $329.99, and that of the bigger one at $349.99. However, if you opt for the LTE version, the watches are going to set you back by a further $50. The 42mm Galaxy Watch with LTE will cost you $379.99, whereas the 46mm costs $399.99.
T-Mobile itself hasn't yet opened the pre-orders for the watches, but lets you pre-register for an exclusive deal which gives you 50% off on a second Galaxy Watch, after you buy your first. And of course, when it does starts selling the watch, it will offer the option to grab them on an installment plan. However, if you intend to pay the full price up front, you can pre-order it from Samsung and be among the first people in the US to rock a Galaxy Watch. Samsung has no-cost EMI options as well.
You also get an additional watch-band for free if you pre-order the watch from Samsung. The watch-band on offer varies with your watch color, which you can choose between Rose Gold and Midnight Black for the 42mm model. The bigger 46mm watch is available only in Silver.
Samsung will begin shipping the watch on the week of September 2. Delivery is free throughout the State.
