Aug 26, 2018

Recently, T-Mobile has had a security breach - on August 20th to be exact. Although, some other customer data has been exposed, such as customers name, billing zip code, phone number, email address, account number and the account type.

The company has stated that they quickly reported the breach to the authorities. Data breaches are always a serious issue to deal with and apparently, the authorities stopped the third party in time so that no other customer details were exposed.

If you did receive an alert about this incident I would definitely consider contacting the company on their Customer Care line by dialling 611. You also have the option of messaging through their website and/or app.
