The Samsung Galaxy Watch price has hit a new low in the US. Barely three weeks since the first price cut in October, Samsung has reduced its price for the second time, bringing the overall price down by $50. The 42mm Galaxy Watch (Bluetooth + Wi-Fi) now costs only $279.99 instead of $329.99, while the 46mm model is selling for $299.99 instead of $349.99. The price of LTE-enabled Galaxy Watch, however, remains unchanged at $379.99 and $399.99 for the two models respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch is the best non-Apple smartwatch you can buy from the current market. It runs on Tizen OS, which is fine-tuned to deliver a pleasing performance on Samsung hardware. Be it its best in the business battery life, or its perfectly working rotating bezel, Galaxy Watch has some attributes that not even Apple Watch can match.
As for the specs, the watch is powered by the Exynos 9110 1.15GHz Dual-core processor, coupled with 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. It features a circular Super AMOLED display with 360×360 resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass DX. The watch is built to MIL-STD-810G (Military Standard) durability, and is rated 5 ATM for water resistance.
It packs GPS and NFC along with other basic sensors, and is capable of tracking as many as 39 different physical activities, including your sleep cycle and stress. The watch is compatible with both Android (5.0 or later) and iOS (9.0 or later) smartphones. However, Samsung Pay will when the watch is paired with an iPhone.
