The Samsung Galaxy Fit has finally arrived in the US. The latest Samsung fitness tracker was announced back in February, alongside its cheaper version, the Galaxy Fit e, and the Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch. The Watch Active went on sale long ago, whereas the Galaxy Fit and Fit e were released in several countries earlier this month. Samsung, however, isn't bringing the Fit e in the American market.

Months after unveiling the device, Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Fit in the US. The new Samsung fitness tracker features a 0.95-inch full-color AMOLED display, with a resolution of 120 x 240 pixels. The device is powered by a Cortex M33F SoC, paired with 2MB RAM and 32MB of storage. It packs a 120 mAh battery, which, Samsung claims, is capable enough to run the device a whole week on a single charge. Based on Samsung’s new Realtime OS, the Galaxy Fit has an easy-to-use interface, which nicely complements its stunningly bright AMOLED display.

Features on offer include automatic detection of several physical activities, including walking, running, biking, and rowing. It also comes with sleep, stress, and heart-rate monitoring features. Additional sensors include gyroscope and accelerometer. The Galaxy Fit is also pretty robust for such a lightweight device (23 grams), as it comes with a military grade build and 5ATM rating for water resistance. The device offers Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. It supports notifications from your connected smartphone, with option to interact via canned responses. It is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones.

As for pricing, the Galaxy Fit will set its buyers back by a $99.99 in the US. Color choices include black and silver, standard for the device all over the world. It is available to buy at Samsung online store as well as other major retailers across the country.
