Samsung and Dezeen $40,000 mobile and wearable design competition

Samsung and Dezeen are collaborating on the Samsung Mobile Design Competition for smartphones, tablets and wearables, with prize money of $40,000.

Dezeen, the world's most influential architecture and design magazine, are collaborating with Samsung on a new competition - with prize money of $40,000. The Samsung Mobile Design Competition is open to professional and student designers for them to show how Galaxy smartphones, tablets and wearables could evolve.

They are specifically looking for the best graphics and accessory designs to enhance future Galaxy mobile devices and wearables The Global Samsung Mobile Design Competition 2019 has been split into two main categories. One category is for accessories that will allow you to experience Galaxy smartphones, tablets and wearables in a completely different way. The second category is for screen wallpapers with special Interest on interactivity and contextual awareness.

The top five finalists in each category will be chosen to fly to London, where they will be able to present their designs to a jury that Includes Samsung executives and Dezeen editor-in-chief Marcus Fairs. The top 3 winners from each category will be Invited to the Samsung Developer Conference in San Hose, USA to receive their prizes.

In order to be considered for this contest, you need to be a professional designer or design student, aged over 18, and able to present their work to a panel of English-speaking judges.
