Recently, we have seen the Fitbit Versa 2 being added to Fitbit's portfolio. Now, Misfit has a new one - the Misfit Vapour X.
This smartwatch claims to be the lightest smartwatch that the company have developed. It is made out of aluminium alloy with a matte finish. The watch strap for the smartwatch has also been redesigned, renamed as the Sport Strap+.
The smartwatch has launched at a starting price of $199.99 but will then go back to its original price of $279.99. So far, there is no word on which markets the Misfit Vapour X will be available but you can purchase it on the Misfit website.
The smartwatch is available in the ever appearing Black, Rose Tone, Champagne and Gunmetal colour options. All of these colours have a matching watch strap that comes with it. These colours include Black, Navy, Lavender and Green. You can also buy more colours of the watch strap for $19.99 from Misfit's website.
The Misfit Vapour X has a 1.19-inch AMOLED screen running the Wear OS. The pixel density of the screen is 328ppi. The Snapdragon 3100 is powering the smartwatch - you can see the improvements that the 3100 brings here. An additional feature that I find pretty useful is that there are different battery modes. These modes are designed for different ways that you may use the watch to make the battery last as long as possible. Speaking of the battery, the battery is 300mAh.
The company claims that the Misfit Vapour X can last for 24 hours on one charge. Additionally, the Misfit Vapour X is claimed to offer fast charging and can play music without the phone. The smartwatch is also compatible with both Android and iOS.
The amount of internal storage is 4GB and the amount of RAM is 512MB. You can make payments with Google Pay as it offers NFC support. The Misfit Vapour X is said to be water-resistant up to 30ATM - meaning that the watch can survive 30 meters of water submersion for a limited amount of time. The sensors that the smartwatch has is a heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, an altimeter and a gyroscope.
