You are now able to pre-register for the Samsung Galaxy Fold. As you may be able to tell, this seems like a pretty cool comeback story.. but the smartphone version. The first version of the smartphone was supposed to launch in the US and UK on April 26th and May 3rd, respectively. Samsung have redesigned the Galaxy Fold because the smartphone actually needs to last longer than two days without breaking.
The pre-registration sites for the Samsung Galaxy Fold have been put back up for the US and UK markets. What do the pages do? The pages are for you to show that you're interested in the product without having to pay in advance for the device. Anyone who does register will also be one of the first to find out new information about the upcoming smartphone.
Surprisingly, after the issues the phone had previously, it hasn't put anyone off the device. When you try to sign up on the US Samsung site, it says that the device is in high demand. The exact quote: "Galaxy Fold is in high demand. Please share your information to receive access to limited supplies when available,"
The main display of the Galaxy Fold is a 7.3-inch AMOLED display with a 362ppi resolution. The cover display of the smartphone is a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display and a399ppi resolution. But, due to the rounded corners, Samsung says that it is actually less.
The cover camera is a 10MP selfie camera. The front camera is a dual camera - a 10MP selfie camera and a 8MP RGB depth camera. The rear camera is a triple camera - a 16MP Ultra Wide camera, a 12MP Wide-angle camera and a 12MP Telephoto camera.
The battery capacity is different between the LTE model and the 5G model. The LTE model has a 4380mAh dual battery and the 5G model has a 4235mAh dual battery. On the other hand, you can charge the smartphone via a power cord and also through wireless charging.
