In response to people complaining and returning their Galaxy Buds+, Samsung has rolled out a firmware update. The firmware version is R175XXUOATB5 and only tolls you a total of 1.21MB. The changelog isn’t very detailed but states it gives us ‘improved system stability and reliability’. I mean I’m not complaining too much.
This update was sent over-the-air but Samsung posted on the Samsung Community page. In this post, they discussed some aspects of the update that aren’t stated in the sparse changelog. One of the things that it did talk about was the fact that the white noise issue may have been sorted by this update for the Galaxy Buds+ as well. Additionally, the update may fix the pairing and disconnecting issue. We have our fingers crossed for those of you who are experiencing issues.
Although many people have commented that their Galaxy Buds+ didn’t meet their expectations, I have seen many reviews praising the device of its sound quality and white noise. Perhaps this issue is present in some units that were sent to certain countries.
