Samsung Unpacked 2020 Is Now Going Virtual!

Samsung Unpacked 2020 is right around the corner - tomorrow even. Due to the ongoing lockdown and social distancing, no one can be at the event in person. To compensate, Samsung is holding a virtual event. So what should we expect from the event?

First off, Samsung is going to reveal many of its newest devices. These are the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+, the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds Live.

As the Samsung Unpacked event is taking place virtually, you will need to stream the event. The streaming will start live at 10 AM Eastern Time - 3 PM in the UK. The stream will be available on Samsung's website, its official YouTube channel, Twitter and Facebook.

The Newest Samsung Smartwatch

The newest Samsung smartwatch that is coming our way is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. With this smartwatch comes the resurfacing of the physical rotating bezel on Samsung's smartwatches. The smartwatch will come in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm. These variants will have a 1.2-inch and a 1.4-inch display respectively.

The watch is actually pretty resistant. It has IP68 water and dust resistance rating. This means that the device can withstand dust, dirt and sand - good for adventures. When you're swimming, the smartwatch can be submerged up to 1.5meters of water for about 30 minutes.

With the smartwatch, there will be gesture controls for the user to pick up or decline calls. Battery-wise, the larger variant has a 247mAh sized battery whereas the larger variant ha a 340mAh battery.
