Even MORE information about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. A leaked firmware file for the smartwatch has given us more information. Reportedly, the latest Samsung smartwatch will use the 10nm Exynos 9110 processor. This is the same processor that is used by the Galaxy Watch Active2.

The smartwatch will come in two sizes - 41mm and 45mm. Both sizes will have a Super AMOLED display with a 360x360 resolution. The smaller variant will have a 1.2-inch screen whereas the larger one will have a 1.4-inch screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will have Tizen 5.5 out of the box with the One UI 2.0 interface. With the smartwatch, there will be Informative Digital Edges that show different information such as heart rate or steps. It is expected that this information can change based on what time it is. Other software changes are that the weather app will have backgrounds that change depending on the weather. If it's rainy, the weather app will have a background displaying rain.

Some reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch 3 can be interacted with through wrist gestures. For example, to accept an incoming call, you can do a fist bump, but, to reject it you can share your hand. It can be a useful feature.

In terms of resistance, the smartwatch will have a MIL-STD-810G military certification - for the average user, you don't have to worry about dropping the smartwatch too much. As well as this, the Galaxy Watch 3 will have an IP68 certification meaning that it is dust resistant and has 5 ATM water resistance. You're safe to go swimming.

Like many others on the market, the smartwatch will feature a loudspeaker GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and 5W wireless charging. Additionally, the smartwatch will have a TI AFE4930 health sensor. Compared to the TI AFE4920 sensor used in the Galaxy Watch Active 2, it is only a small upgrade.
